【Fuzhou Evening News】Nine governmental departments in Fujian Province, including the Fujian Department of Commerce, jointly published the Measures on Speeding up High-quality Development of Prefabricated Food Industry in November 2022. According to the Measures, Fuzhou will prioritize supporting the construction of Zhongke Jingwei Prefabricated Food Production and Research City in the Fuzhou Yuanhong Investment Zone and building Fujian province’s first prefabricated food industry park and the demonstration prefabricated food industry park in China-Indonesia “Two Countries Twin Parks”, supporting the construction of Paul (Yuanhong) International Big Health Food Industry Park and building a processing base for prefabricated food. The production and research city will invite domestic and overseas experts on prefabricated food to set up the institute of prefabricated food innovation, which aims to inherit traditional Fujian cuisine and other famous Chinese dishes, make innovations accordingly and develop prefabricated food that can achieve standardized mass production.

To provide better auxiliary facilities, the production and research city will set up three platforms on prefabricated food, namely strategic emergency reserve center, testing and certification center and distribution center. Apart from the production and research city, other prefabricated food industry channels that target overseas markets are also under construction. The virtual “Indonesia National Pavilion” on JD APP, in which the JD Yuanhong Global Food Digital Economic and Industrial Center, has entered trial operation. The bricks-and-mortar “China-Indonesia National Pavilion”, located in the Yuanhong park, is engaged in attracting investment and business. The Fujian cuisine pavilion, Indonesia pavilion and Two Countries Twin Parks pavilion will be set up separately to present worldwide delicacies.   (Qian Jiayi)
