The 24th Pyongyang Spring International Trade Fair, which opened on Monday in the capital of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), has attracted the participation of more than 290 firms from home and abroad.

Themed on common development and prosperity, the fair, running from Monday to Friday, are showcasing a wide range of domestic and foreign products.

Foreign companies participating in the fair include those from China, Russia, among others.

With more than 290 booths displaying over 1,700 products such as electronics, machinery, and metals, the exhibition has drawn numerous visitors who came to explore and shop. Throughout the event, company briefings and product seminars focused on economic exchanges and cooperation will be conducted as well.

The Pyongyang International Trade Fair, the largest comprehensive international trade exhibition in the DPRK, takes place twice a year — once in the spring and once in the autumn.
