Shenyang, the capital of northeast China's Liaoning Province, has introduced a variety of festivities to enrich the experience for residents and tourists during the eight-day National Day holiday, which encompasses the Mid-Autumn Festival this year.
In Hunnan District, a spectacular music fountain show featuring colorful lights and dynamic water shapes that dance in sync with the rhythm of the music, has been staged, offering the audience a true visual feast.
To enhance the festive atmosphere, the performances were thoughtfully redesigned to reflect themes of nation and family.
"There are about tens of thousands of nozzles, more than 300 LED lights and six laser lights. The nozzles of the water columns can sway left and right and move back and forth, creating a captivating integration of the fountain, lasers, and lighting," said Zhang Chao, the chief planner of the fountain performance.
As part of the performance, a graceful dancer performed high above, bringing the celebration to a thrilling climax.
In addition to the musical fountain show, several museums in the city have extended their opening hours until 21:00 during the holiday, providing greater convenience for visitors.
