Nearly 1,000 bharals -- unmatched masters of climbing under Class Two national protection in China -- were caught on camera foraging on hillsides and cliffs in Qilian County of northwest China's Qinghai Province on May 14, amid constantly improving environment there.
Bharals are able to effortlessly scamper on steep slopes of over 70 degrees, showing incredible balance.
Their climbing skills, coupled with clever camouflage, help them access food and evade predators.
They live mainly on the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau.
