Tourist destinations in central China's Henan Province have launched a variety of ice and snow activities to entice tourists and spur a winter tourism boom.

In the Baligou Scenic Area of Henan's Xinxiang City, an icefall has created a winter wonderland.
"It's really gorgeous! The snowscape is amazing, really beautiful. The scenery is also a wonderful backdrop for photos. We can take a lot of good photos here," said Gong Zhou, a tourist.
The scenic spot provided several amusement activities from sleighing to mini alpine slide. Both children and adults can have fun there.
"Everything is pretty good. As my kid is quite young, this is the first time she plays sleighing. We are very happy," said Liu Xianpeng, another tourist.
Since Jan 1, the Baligou Scenic Area has welcomed over 60,000 visitors.
Skiing has also become another trendy leisure for many people these days.
At a ski resort in Henan's Nanyang City, numerous tourists got on snowboard and enjoyed the fun brought by winter sports.
"It's cool!. Although I fell, it's still really exciting and fun," said a child.
Recently, more than 3,000 tourists have come to the ski resort every day.
"We added some entertainment facilities, such as parent-child amusement park, snow tubing and snowmobile. We hope that everyone will enjoy themselves and have a good time here," said Li Bingbing, person in charge of the ski resort.
