A tourist captured a wild giant panda strolling leisurely at riverside in a scenic spot in his video in Taibai County of northwest China's Shaanxi Province last Friday.

The video, taken at 18:30 in the Dajiangou scenic area of Shaanxi's Huangbaiyuan Town, features the wild giant panda strolling downstream by a river with his body swaying side to side.
The tourist, identified as Mr. Ding, was excited about his surprise encounter with China's national treasure, saying the tour was worthwhile.
A number of tourists to the scenic area have reported similar encounters this year.
China's fourth national giant panda survey showed that there are over 20 wild giant pandas living in Dajiangou and the area is one of the major giant panda habitats in the Qinling Mountains, a region known as China's "gene bank" of wild biology.
