A giant panda has been caught in an amusing moment on camera as she reaches to scratch an irritating itch on her plump 'heart-shaped' rump.
The adorable video released by the iPanda channel recently showed the giant panda He Hua sitting with her back to camera, tending to a troublesome itch on her lower back with the white part of her furry frame making the rather cute shape of a heart.
The footage was shot earlier this month at the No.6 Giant Panda Villa in the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in southwest China's Sichuan Province.
He Hua was born at the research base on July 4, 2020 to a mother named Cheng Gong. She also has a twin sister called He Ye, with the panda pair gaining fame on the internet for their funny antics.
The Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding is a world-renowned institution for the conservation of giant pandas. The base is famous for its work in protecting and breeding giant pandas, red pandas and other endangered wild animals exclusive to China as well as its educational outreach programs and its role as a major tourist attraction.
