A launch ceremony for three major AI projects was held in Shanghai on Saturday to further promote China's solutions for global artificial intelligence development and to drive greater adoption within China.

The three projects are initiated by China Media Group (CMG), the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), the Cyberspace Administration of China, and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government.
The first of the three projects is an AI platform, named "Global Wisdom Platform”, designed to leverage China's "AI+" initiative as a driving force, combining the NDRC's strengths in scenario development and international cooperation with CMG's global reach and influence. The platform aims to present China's solutions to global AI advancement.
The second project is the "AI Corpus and Scenario Cooperation List" jointly released by CMG and the Shanghai municipal government. CMG will collaborate with China UnionPay, the Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, the Shanghai Innovation Institute, and other relevant institutions to explore AI applications in real-world scenarios, including global emergency information sharing, risk assessment for Chinese businesses' global expansion, and brand building for Chinese manufacturing.
And the third project, "2026 China AI Gala," will feature an innovative blend of human-robot collaborative performances, Turing tests, digital human presentations, and other diverse formats. It will showcase pioneering achievements in embodied AI, large models, AI infrastructure, and scientific intelligence.
The gala aims to transform the practice of Chinese modernization and Chinese cultural heritage into an audio-visual masterpiece that is perceptible, emotionally resonant, and widely shareable.
The gala will soon be broadcast on CMG's CCTV-1 comprehensive channel and the Yangshipin new media platform.
