The 2026 May Day holiday film lineup was officially released on Friday in Beijing, offering moviegoers a diverse selection of films across multiple genres.

A rich selection of movies will hit the big screens nationwide from May 1 to 5, including patriotic dramas, comedies, action films, and animations, providing audiences with plenty of entertaining choices during the five-day holiday.
At the launch event, the "Travel Through Film" campaign was also unveiled to promote deeper integration between cinema and cultural tourism.
The campaign promotes film-themed traveling routes and encourages visits to movie filming locations and story settings, aiming to boost consumption and drive high-quality development across the entire film industry chain.
