Giant panda twins Ai Lun and Ai Mi celebrated their 5th birthday on June 15 and got special birthday cakes at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in southwest China's Sichuan Province.

The video footage released by the base shows that Ai Lun enjoyed ice cake made of brightly colored fruits and vegetables, including pumpkins, watermelons, cherry tomatoes, carrots, and other ingredients.

Ai Lun and his twin brother Ai Mi were born on June 15, 2018 at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding.
Their mother is Ai Li, giant panda born on July 24, 2011.

The Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding is a world-renowned public non-profit breeding and research institute for giant pandas, red pandas, and other rare animals.
