Infrared cameras in China's Giant Panda National Park have captured rare footage of a wild giant panda mother and her cub moving through the forests in Ya'an City of southwest China's Sichuan Province.

The footage shows the mother panda guiding her cub through bamboo groves, helping the young animal become familiar with its surroundings and learn the skills needed to survive in the wild.

The footage also revealed golden snub-nosed monkeys in social groups, red pandas scaling tree trunks, and sambar deer wallowing in mud, among other wild species a vivid snapshot of the area's thriving biodiversity.
