On Monday, the final day of the Spring Festival holiday, Xixi National Wetland Park in Hangzhou City of east China's Zhejiang Province was already awash in early spring colors, with more than 20,000 plum trees about 70 percent in bloom and at their peak for viewing.
White and pink Chinese plums glow across the park, with their green calyx and slender branches cast delicate reflections on the water, capturing the refined charm of spring. Visitors wandered through the plum groves or glided across the waterways by boat, taking in the shifting scenery and savoring a scene reminiscent of classical Chinese poetry.
The plum blossom season at Xixi Wetland will continue through early March, accompanying visitors throughout the early days of spring.
