In the first half of this year, China's newly installed capacity of renewable energy accounted for about 91.5 percent of the total newly installed capacity, the National Energy Administration (NEA) said in a report on Thursday.
According to the report, in the first six months of the year, the newly installed capacity of renewable energy across the country reached 268 gigawatts, up 99.3 percent year on year, accounting for approximately 91.5 percent of the total newly installed capacity.
By the end of June, the installed capacity of renewable energy in the country accounted for nearly 60 percent of the total installed capacity, the NEA said.
