Surrounded by love and laughter, giant panda Mang Cancan celebrated his second birthday with his mother and fans on Monday at Chongqing Zoo in southwest China.

Mang Cancan got his name when he was half a year old, which symbolizes beauty and brilliance in Chinese.
At the birthday party, a beautiful swing adorned with fresh flowers and lush greenery became a stunning backdrop. It was embellished with fresh fruits like apples, grapes, and lychees.
Next to the swing stood a specially-prepared chilled cake decorated with colorful fruits.
The birthday boy lay lazily on the swing, reaching out with his paws to pluck grapes and curiously sniffing them, with his mother, Mang Zai, standing watchfully behind him.
Mang Cancan was born on July 6, 2023, and he is the fifth kid of Mang Zai.
