To further enhance the international influence of Tai'an City and promote a positive image of Tai'an to the world, on May 20th, the “China, an Opportunity” International Media Tour of Tai'an was officially launched at Taishan Press and Publishing Town, co-hosted by the Publicity Department of Tai'an and Sdchina News. International media journalists from countries and regions such as the United States, South Korea, and Dubai were invited to participate in this event.

As the organizer of this event, Sdchina News serves as a key platform for authoritative release of Shandong-based information and is dedicated to promoting Shandong’s image both domestically and internationally. Leveraging its unique advantages in external publicity, Sdchina News has carried out a series of characteristic activities in various fields to continuously promote Shandong’s achievements in all areas to the outside world. To effectively promote Tai’an and shape its international image, Sdchina News will showcase Tai’an in a comprehensive, multi-dimensional, multi-channel, multilingual and all-media manner.

Lee Woo Joong from The Segye Times delivered a speech as the representative of the international media outlets. He expressed his happiness for coming to Tai’an, which is located in the central area of Shandong Province and features a long history and rich cultural deposits. In South Korea, Mount Tai is also well known due to the poetry of Yang Shiyan.  Through close communication and cooperation, the friendship between China and South Korea has been further deepened. Shandong Province, in particular, is one of the most active regions in terms of exchanges with South Korea, and has established cooperative relationships in various fields such as economy, culture, and education.

Mount Tai is World Natural and Cultural Heritage sites, hailed as the epitome of Chinese history and culture, and the symbol of the spirit of the Chinese nation. As one of the first tourist cities designated by the State Council for opening up to the outside world, Tai'an has established economic, trade and cultural cooperation relationships with more than 30 countries and regions, and has established friendly cities or cooperative relationships with 26 cities from 23 countries. 

During the event, internationaljournalists will successively visit places such as Taishan Press and Publishing Town and "Taishan Shenqi" Cross-Dimensional Digital Experience Hall, watch the large-scale live performance "Fengshan Ceremony", visit Mount Tai Scenic Area and Jiunv Peak Rural Revitalization Demonstration Zone.
