On the afternoon of April 25, 2024, the Shandong Province Cultural and Tourism Industry High-Quality Development Conference opened in Linyi, a city in southeast Shandong Province. Guests from all walks of life gathered to promotefriendship, deepen cooperation, and seek high-quality development of the cultural and tourism industry together.
The opening ceremony was attended by Lin Wu, the Secretary of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee, who announced the opening of the conference. Zhou Naixiang, the Deputy Secretary of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee and the Governor of the province, delivered a speech.
Zhou Naixiang introduced Shandong's cultural and tourism resource superiority and unique charm from five aspects, namely the profoundness of its culture, the wonders of its landscape, the beauty of its ecology, the diversity of its festivals, and the hospitality of Shandong people. He warmly welcomed friends from home and abroad to visit the warmly Linyi and enjoy a friendly Shandong, and sincerely made an invitation to enterprises from all over the world to discuss the development of cultural tourism and create a better future together.
Li Qun, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism and Director of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, Zhang Xu, Chairman of the World Tourism Alliance, Prahat Durdyev, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to China, and Cao Minglong, President of Fosun Tourism Group, delivered speeches.
At the opening ceremony, the 2024 "Discover China Cultural Tour” of Shandong for Diplomats in China was launched. Internet celebrities such as Zhang Juan for social media account "Taishan Juanjie" shared their stories under the theme of "Shandong in My Eyes", and the "Enioy the Friendly Shandong” Research Tourism Brand was released. The signing ceremony of the strategic cooperation for high-quality development of culture and tourism in Shandong Province was held, with 18 key cultural and tourism projects signed.
