The event, running until Oct 30 at the Hongdao International Convention and Exhibition Center, spans 117,600 square meters and features 27 international pavilions and 16 domestic exhibition groups.
A diverse range of seafood products from around the world is on display, with Norwegians showcasing salmon, whitefish, trout, and king crab; Canadians presenting lobster, crab, mussels, and other cold-water seafood; and South America and Asia exhibiting regional specialties, including Argentine red shrimp, Ecuadorian white shrimp, Chilean salmon, and Vietnamese pangasius.
Australia is participating for the first time with a pavilion organized by Austrade in cooperation with Australian diplomatic missions in China, exhibiting southern bluefin tuna, rock lobster, oysters, abalone, mussels, and yellowtail kingfish.
As a major international seafood trade event, the expo showcases products ranging from wild-caught and farmed seafood to processed foods and innovative aquaculture products. It also gives producers, buyers, and industry professionals opportunities to build business connections and explore new markets.
