This summer, Qingdao's marine tourism has reached new heights, driven by new routes and experiences. As of Aug 16, the "travel Qingdao from the sea" tour has welcomed over 3 million visitors this year, marking a 5.39 percent year-on-year increase and setting a new record. The single-day passenger volume also peaked, reflecting the growing popularity of the city's coastal offerings.

The city now operates dual night cruise routes across Fushan Bay and Qingdao Bay, offering stunning views of the illuminated coastline. High-speed boat rides at sunset provide breathtaking views of the "orange sea" and Xiaomaidao Island. Adding to the excitement, the Qingdao Science and Technology Museum's new water park has introduced fresh "ocean+" activities, blending education with entertainment.

With its expanding marine tourism options, Qingdao continues to strengthen its reputation as a top seaside destination, attracting both domestic and international travelers to its beautiful coastline.
