On the evening of Aug 10, the film music night lit up the central stage at Golden Beach Beer City in Qingdao West Coast New Area. Marking the 10th anniversary of Qingdao's designation as a UNESCO City of Film, the event blended movie IPs, classic soundtracks, and cultural tourism to create an unforgettable summer celebration.
Tracing the evolution of global cinema, the concert featured timeless Chinese melodies alongside modern masterpieces. Band performances, interactive games, and lucky draws energized the thousands of attendees. Highlights included patriotic numbers, local film tracks, and international classics such as Casablanca, culminating in a rousing grand finale of My Motherland.
Aligning with the city's "Film+" consumption pilot initiative, 3,000 movie vouchers and a grand-prize smartphone were given out during the event to boost cinema attendance. Additionally, a local tourism promoter invited visitors to explore Qingdao's famous filming locations. This vibrant cultural showcase merged the city's rich film heritage with the electric atmosphere of the beer festival, driving the local nighttime and tourism economies.
