A unique twist on the traditional beer festival is set to debut in Qingdao, Shandong province. From July 20 to 30, the 77,500-metric-ton cruise ship Dream is hosting China's first "cruise beer festival" at the Qingdao International Cruise Homeport.

As a special offshore venue of the 36th Qingdao International Beer Festival, this innovative static cruise experience allows visitors to board with just their ID — no passport needed. 

The 77,500-ton vessel features 1,008 cabins, four themed restaurants, five bars, a grand theater, an outdoor pool, and a library. The top deck offers an open-air beer party area with live band performances and sunset views, while sea-view bars provide a quieter space for gatherings.

The event seamlessly blends Qingdao's beer culture with a premium cruise lifestyle, offering both half-day and overnight packages. Guests can enjoy specialty performances, interactive games, and themed parties throughout the day. The cruise ticket also grants access to discounts at major scenic spots and commercial areas across Qingdao, creating a seamless land-sea tourism experience.

Running until July 30, this innovative project invites everyone to experience a one-of-a-kind summer celebration on the sea.
