The 11th China Shandong (Qingdao) International Health Care Industry Expo will take place from July 2 to 4 in Qingdao. The expo focuses on wellness tourism as a key driver, seeking to set a new standard for northern China's travel and care industry.

On opening day, new highlight zones will make their debut. The north-south wellness tourism showcase will feature Qingdao's unique rural, marine, and hot-spring care projects, along with displays from regions like Guangxi, Shanxi, and Yunnan. Additionally, the smart care robot zone, developed in collaboration with Qingdao's embodied intelligence training center, will display AI care robots, exoskeletons, and wearable devices.

To cater to the new generation of elderly individuals, the expo is introducing the silver age lifestyle festival, covering apparel, food, housing, and travel — including cultural creative products and senior travel packages. A specialized marine senior care zone will highlight marine biomedicine, hot-spring wellness, and blue economy tourism.

Since it began in 2016, the expo has hosted nearly 2,600 exhibitors from over 50 countries and regions, serving more than 170,000 visitors with a satisfaction rate exceeding 95 percent. This year's event promises to bring new vitality to Shandong's senior care industry through cross-regional cooperation and immersive experiences.
