The inauguration ceremony for Qingdao's first AIGC·OPC (Artificial Intelligence Generated Content and One-Person Company) industrial base was held at the Metaverse Industrial Innovation Park in Shinan district on March 4. The initiative aims to blend AIGC technology with the digital audio-visual industry, positioning Qingdao as a northern pilot demonstration city for OPC startups.

Operating with a "single person plus AI" model, OPCs offer efficient, low-cost operations, becoming key drivers for urban innovation. Recognizing this potential, the Shinan district is using the AIGC·OPC industry to advance the local digital economy's development.

Through a partnership with the Qingdao Media Group, Shinan provides startups with shared workspaces and a wide range of mentors. The district also introduced 12 targeted support measures, covering workspaces, computing power, talent, and finance, to create a strong business environment.

During the event, officials introduced four key platforms, including the industry base, a copyright review center, and a vocational training facility. These establish a complete service system covering talent cultivation, creative production, and copyright protection. Shinan also began a recruitment drive for an OPC capacity-building camp, and leading AIGC companies signed agreements for project implementation and park residency.
