Qingdao's heritage market kicks off Spring Festival festivities 2026/2/3 source: Print

Nanshan community in Qingdao unveiled a vibrant folk and intangible cultural heritage bazaar on Jan 28. Titled "Inheriting intangible cultural heritage, celebrating the Year of the Horse", the event offered residents hands-on experiences of traditional crafts such as tie-dyeing, paper-cutting, and New Year woodblock painting and printing.

Through these immersive activities, people were able to engage with the charm of Chinese traditional culture. The lively bazaar, filled with diverse customs, created a warm and festive atmosphere as the community came together to welcome the upcoming Chinese New Year with a collective sense of joy and anticipation.
