Among them, eight international marine sports events, six national events and two sailing events for public fitness attracted the participation of more than 2,300 athletes, coaches and referees from 29 countries and regions. Qingdao signed cooperation agreements separately with five international organizations in an indication that Qingdao will see an increasingly expanded circle of exchanges in sailing.

Over the years, Qingdao has deepen cooperation with sailing organizations in over 20 countries and regions, introduced 11 international events, including the Clipper Round the World, and launched with the spirit of innovation 26 independent events such as the “Fareast Cup” International Regatta.
