World's largest container ship put into commercial operation at Qingdao Port

On March 23, MSC IRINA, world’s largest container ship developed by China, set sail at Qingdao Port, Shandong province, starting its first commercial tour after the delivery. The ship has a loading capacity of 7,500 TEUs at the port. With a total length of 399.99 meters and a width of 61.3 meters, the ship can carry 24,346 standard containers at a time.
