The 2024-2025 Island of Youth·Youth Music Festival was officially inaugurated in Guangxingli, the Qingdao Dabaodao tourism and leisure block. With the theme “Making Song of Youth for a New Era Heard”, the latest festival saw innovation and upgrade across the board in content and forms compared with the previous four festivals.

In more than two months to come, the music festival will be held successively in such colleges and universities as Shandong University of Science and Technology, Qingdao University of Science, Qingdao Vocational College of Aeronautical Science and Technology, and Qingdao Binhai University. Some outstanding singers and art clubs from these campuses will be invited to perform collectively in the Dabaodao tourism and culture block. Furthermore, themed on “paying tribute to well-remembered campus songs”, a large New Year Eve’s concert on youth is under intense preparation and will be held at the end of this year.
