On October 18, the 2024 China International Consumer Electronics Exposition was inaugurated in Qingdao.

The 2024 China International Consumer Electronics Exposition (CICEE) kicked off on October 18 and concluded on October 20 in Qingdao.

With the theme of “Green Technology Leading the Trends, Digital Technology Shaping the Future”, the CICEE boasted an area of 50,000 square meters and gathered more than 300 companies at home and abroad to collectively showcase the latest technologies, products and trends in consumer electronics. In terms of exhibits, the event has set up five themed areas, covering consumer electronics, artificial intelligence, new type displays, virtual reality, intelligent manufacturing and smart travel. Exhibitors has added by 14% from the previous event in numbers and included 55 domestically and internationally famous enterprises. With 28 brands attending the expo for the first time, the number of companies having famous brands has gained 10% from the previous event.

Co-sponsored by Shandong Provincial Government, China Chamber of Commerce of Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products, the Chinese Institute of Electronics and Qingdao Municipal Government, the CICEE, known as the sole national level professional exhibition event in Shandong Province, has been held for 20 times since its inception in 2001. The CICEE has now evolved into a smart science and technology exhibition underscoring experience—based economy from a consumer electronics expo. The event serves as not only an important window to lead scientific and technology innovation in consumer electronics, but also an international exchange platform to promote industrial integration.
