The 21st Qingdao International Furniture Fair was successfully held from May 9th to 12th. According to statistics, there were approximately 250,000 attendees during the fair, with an intended turnover of 7.8 billion yuan, which effectively promoted enterprise brand promotion, market development, and deep integration and collaboration of the entire industry chain. This fair also boosted consumption and expanded domestic demand.

Compared with previous fair, this year had numerous highlights. Not only did the number of exhibition halls increase to 12, but it also invited more than a thousand designers to participate with the focus on the design shortcomings in the industry’s development to promote the deep integration of design and industry.

In this way, the development of furniture manufacturing industry towards high quality, high efficiency, fashion creativity and green intelligence has been accelerated. In Q1 of 2024, the added value of the furniture manufacturing industry in Shandong increased by 10.5% year on year, 3.6 percentage points higher than the national industry average.
