The Qingdao roundtable for Germany-invested enterprises and the 2024 Spring business meeting of exchange for Europe-funded enterprises in Qingdao were recently held. In the event, persons in charge of Germany-funded companies in Qingdao showed robust confidence and voiced their intention to continue to invest in Qingdao.

Looking into the future, we will highlight technological upgrade for new vehicle models to launch an increasing number of high-quality Qingdao-made vehicles.” “Since locating a factory in Qingdao in 2006, ANDREAS STIHL Power Tools (Qingdao) Co., Ltd. has been continuing to diversify its product lines, and forecasts an 11% year-on-year increase in revenue in 2024.” “This year marks the 121st anniversary of Simens seeking a presence in Qingdao. Over more than one century, we have been making progress on R&D and investment, industrial upgrading and ecological environmental protection, and working hard to promote China-Germany cooperation. In collaboration with Aucma and CCS Electric among other Qingdao-based enterprises, we have delivered remarkable social and economic benefits.” 

In the conference, the Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Commerce put forward plans to provide more application scenarios to deepen cooperation in electronic information, intelligent manufacturing and new energy vehicles among other key fields in an effort to seek common development and co-prosperity.  (Liu Lanxing)
