On February 22, with the theme of "Spring Festival Culture Going Global", Qingdao, China - Perm, Russia online exchange event was held. International students from Qingdao University and Perm National University had an online exchange on Spring Festival culture.

The event aims to further promote cultural exchange and cooperation between Qingdao and Perm, deepen mutual understanding between young people in the two regions and enhance the friendship between the two cities.

Kopylova Liubov, a Russian student studying in Qingdao, visited her friend during the Spring Festival. "Posting Spring Festival couplets, eating dumplings, and setting off firecrackers were amazing. Red decorations were both indoors and outdoors, making it very festive. My friends and family taught me how to play mahjong, and we even went to the beach to watch fireworks together." Kopylova Liubov talked endlessly about her experience of celebrating the Spring Festival in Qingdao. Kopylova Liubov also shared her understanding of Spring Festival culture from a unique perspective, depicting what she saw as the Spring Festival and the similarities and differences between Chinese and Russian New Year customs. Ganjina, an international student from Tajikistan also shared an interesting experience of celebrating the Spring Festival in Qingdao.

International students from Qingdao University and Perm National University in Russia participated in the event. They all gained a deeper understanding of the origin of the Spring Festival and the unique customs of the local Spring Festival in Qingdao.Through the event, participants also developed a strong interest in the city of Qingdao. They have expressed their hope to participate in more similar cultural exchange activities in the future.
