The Trip of CSULB Delegation from Long Beach, U.S. to Qingdao, China was launched on January 8th in Qingdao, E China’s Shandong province.

This cultural exchange activity, initiated by Qingdao of China and its sister city Long Beach of the U.S., kicked off with an ice-breaking event for students from Qingdao University of Technology and California State University, Long Beach. Chinese and American students deepened their understanding of each other and enhanced friendship through interesting interactive activities and wonderful performances.

With the theme of "The Future Lies with the Youth", the event aims to promote exchanges between Chinese and American youth, enhance mutual trust and friendship among the people. And during the week, the delegation of teachers and students will visit Qingdao Beer Museum, Qingdao Port, paper-cutting studios, and Laoshan Academy to fully experience the local customs, cultural atmosphere of Qingdao, and its modern development.
