[Fuzhou Evening News] On June 28th, "Bond with Kuliang" 2023 China-U.S. People-to-People Friendship Forum was held in Fuzhou. Zhou Zuyi, Secretary of the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the Fujian Provincial People's Congress, read out the Chairman's congratulatory letter and delivered a speech at the opening ceremony. Zhao Long, Deputy Secretary of the Fujian Provincial Party Committee and Governor, presided over the opening ceremony of the forum. Chinese Ambassador to the United States, Xie Feng, delivered a speech through video.

Geng Xin, Consul General of the United States in Guangzhou, Mu Yanling, an expert in the study of American Kuliang culture, and Lin Songtian, president of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, addressed the opening ceremony of the forum. Representatives of the "Kuliang Forum" and experts and scholars attending the forum delivered speeches, continuing the "New Stories of Kuliang".

At the forum, Lin Baojin, member of the Standing Committee of Fujian Provincial Party Committee and secretary of Fuzhou Municipal Party Committee, made a speech and released the achievements of the forum. The principals of Fujian Provincial Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the Association of American and Chinese Sister city signed a memorandum of friendship and cooperation, and the principals of Fuzhou Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and Tacoma signed a memorandum of understanding on further strengthening friendly exchanges and cooperation.  (Zhou Lin)
