【Fuzhou Evening News】Guided by the Publicity Department of the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee, and hosted by the Publicity Bureau of the CPC Fuzhou Municipal Committee, and the World Federation of Fuzhou Associations Ltd., the Jade Rabbit Greeting the New Year and Encountering Happiness-2023 World Fuzhou Spring Festival Gala will be broadcast on the news, film and TV and life channels of Fuzhou Broadcast and Television on the Chinese Lunar New Year’s Eve (January 21, 2023), and available on many internet platforms for worldwide Fuzhou compatriots to watch.

Reportedly, the gala, with the theme of “Jade Rabbit Greeting the New Year and Encountering Happiness”, showcases the enthusiasm and high morale for  building faster Fuzhou into a modern international city, the social and economic achievements Fuzhou has scored, and the charm and attractiveness of Fu Culture and Fuzhou culture through the programs of entertainment that highlight Fu culture and Fuzhou culture.

The gala begins with the program named Jade Rabbit Greeting the New Year and Encountering Happiness. In addition, through stage performances, “video link” and “paying New Year calls online”, Fuzhou compatriots and representatives from all walks of life beat the “Fu” drums to awaken the spring and encounter happiness in worldwide distinctive buildings. The members of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, sport stars and representatives of overseas Chinese, who were born or are working in Fuzhou, convey their best wishes by different means in the gala.   (Gu Wei)
