On the morning of September 22, the office of the Cambodia Asia Film Festival Organizing Committee (China) was officially located in the Fuzhou Shangxiahang Historical and Cultural Block.
This move marks not only Cambodia setting up the first regularly open platform for film culture communication and exhibition, but also solid progress that the Silk Road International Film Festival has made in pushing ahead with the construction of the Belt and Road Film Industry Cooperation Platform.
Founded in 2019, the Cambodia Asia Film Festival is an annual grand international film event held under the authorization of the Cambodian Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts.
The 12th Silk Road International Film Festival is reported to have held Belt and Road film industry cooperation and communication activities to continue to broaden its international cooperation network and build platforms for industrial cooperation in a pragmatic way. The successful establishment of the Cambodia Asia Film Festival Organizing Committee (China) has enriched international cooperation pursued by the Silk Road International Film Festival, and provided a significant underpinning for the building of the Belt and Road film ecosystem, thus helping push in a continuous way cooperation between China and ASAEN countries in the film industry to new heights.
