Fuzhou Held a Conference to Promote the Construction of Two Industrious Parks between China and Indonesia

[Fuzhou Evening News] On the 11th, the China Indonesia "Two Countries, Two Parks" construction promotion conference was held in Fuqing. Lin Baojin, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee and secretary of the CPC Fuzhou Municipal Committee, attended and delivered a speech, stressing the demand to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the important instructions of the 20th National Congress of the CPC, the two sessions of the National People's Congress and the important instruction on the "the Belt and Road" construction, and in accordance with the deployment requirements of the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee and the Fujian Provincial Government, to gather consensus and joint efforts to fully promote the "Two Countries, Two Parks" construction. Huang Heming, Director of the Department of Commerce of Fujian Province, attended the meeting and gave a guidance speech. Fuzhou City leaders Zhang Zhong, Liu Zhuoqun, Lu Jing, Cai Yadong, Zhang Dingfeng, Ye Renyou, and others attended. Lan Wen, Director of Fuzhou New Area Management Committee, presided over the meeting.

Before the meeting, Lin Baojin led the relevant comrades to Fuqing Overseas Chinese Park to review the important concepts and vivid practices advocated by president Xi Jinping during his work in Fuzhou to promote the "Great Overseas Chinese Affairs" work. They listened to the introduction of the deeds of Lin Shaoliang, a famous patriotic overseas Chinese leader. They unanimously expressed their commitment to adhering to the "Great Overseas Chinese Affairs" concept, making good use of overseas Chinese resources, rallying the hearts and forces of overseas Chinese, and promoting the bridge construction with "overseas Chinese" to do a good job in overseas Chinese affairs in the new era. At Fujian Changtai Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Lin Baojin had in-depth exchanges with corporate leaders to gain a detailed understanding of marine biological products projects, encouraging enterprises to seize strategic opportunities, keenly capture business opportunities, strengthen industrial docking and cooperation, and achieve win-win development.                

At the meeting, relevant units released the urban design plan, industrial cooperation planning ideas, and investment promotion map of the Two Industrious Parks. The Investment Counsellor of the Indonesian Embassy in China, Aifeida, delivered a video speech. Representatives of Chinese and Indonesian enterprises from Yuguan Food, Tianma Technology, Fengda Group, Sanlin Group, AG Group, and Malongjia Group made speeches or video presentations respectively. 

Lin Baojin pointed out that the "Two Countries, Two Parks" between China and Indonesia is a new flagship project of the "the Belt and Road", which is personally concerned and promoted by president Xi Jinping. It is also an important platform and a key starting point for Fuzhou to accelerate the construction of a modern international city. The whole city should bear in mind its mandate and shoulder its mission bravely, conscientiously implement the provincial party committee's action of "striving for excellence through deep learning, daring to take the lead, and striving for efficiency through hard work", plan to promote the construction of "two countries and two parks" from a higher position, firmly support the "two establishment" and firmly achieve the "two maintenance" with practical achievements. 

Lin Baojin emphasized that we should pay attention to planning guidance, make good use of international bidding results, further clarify the target positioning, quickly improve the implementation plan, and promote planning and construction with high standards. It is necessary to adhere to the principle of "foundation first", strengthen seaport, airport, sea-rail intermodal transportation, improve infrastructure and public facilities, and continuously improve the carrying capacity of the park. We should deepen economic and trade docking, adhere to the combination of "going out" and "bringing in", explore new models of international division of labor and cooperation, and build an industrial ecosystem of coordinated development. It is necessary to build and strengthen cooperation carriers, make good use of platforms such as the Haisi Expo, digital summit, and digital expo, attract more multinational enterprises and cooperation projects, and continuously enhance the international visibility and influence of the "two countries, two parks" between China and Indonesia. It is necessary to optimize the operation mode, innovate the system and mechanism, and accelerate the formation of a good trend of rapid docking, landing, and promotion of project investment. It is necessary to actively communicate, strive for policy support, strengthen service guarantees, and create a good environment for the construction of "two countries, two parks" in China and Indonesia.

Leaders of relevant central institutions in Fujian, relevant units in Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, and representatives of more than 120 enterprises attended the meeting at the main venue.
