Select exhibition ambassadors and host 100 exhibitions

Fuzhou offline exhibitions are recovering strongly. This year, the Straits International Convention and Exhibition Center will hold a series of important economic and trade exhibitions.

"It is expected that 100 exhibitions will be held in Fuzhou this year." The relevant person in charge of the Exhibition Development Department of Fuzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce said that the exhibition scale in Fuzhou was only 560,000 square meters last year and is expected to reach 1 million square meters this year.

It is reported that Fuzhou plans to hold the Southeast China Convention and Exhibition City Cooperation and Development Conference sponsored by Fuzhou City and attended by the government departments, industry associations and upstream and downstream exhibition enterprises of the four provinces and three regions in the southeast of China (Fujian Province, Guangdong Province, Zhejiang Province, Jiangxi Province, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao) every year from this year. The conference is planned to be held twice a year in Fuzhou in the spring and in the exhibition cities in the four provinces and three districts in the southeast in the autumn.

In addition, the Fuzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce will be responsible for selecting persons with important influence and resources in the industry as "Fuzhou Convention and Exhibition Ambassadors" to attract international and national high-quality convention and exhibition activities to be held in Fuzhou to help the development of Fuzhou Convention and Exhibition Industry, and their individuals will enjoy the solicitation award.

Fuzhou will cultivate and develop Cangshan and Changle exhibition clusters. The planned cultivation period is from 2023 to 2024, the initial growth period is from 2025 to 2026, and the high-speed development period is after 2027.

It is reported that Fuzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce will take the lead in leading exhibition halls, hotels and industry associations to promote the exhibition industry of Fuzhou in major convention and exhibition cities across the country. At the same time, it will actively introduce international and national exhibition projects to Fuzhou, and strive to achieve more than 15 promotion cities and more than 15 international and national exhibition projects by 2025.
