“A Glittering Fuzhou” lights up Minjiang River
[Fuzhou Evening News] In a celebration for Fuzhou winning the Global Award for Sustainable Development in Cities presented by the United Nations Human Settlement Programme, culture and arts activities, themed on “A Glittering Fuzhou”, were put on at the Heart of Minjiang River from November 4 till November 5. The magnificent fireworks show on the evening of November 5 brought the festive atmosphere to a climax.
As rays of light split the night, music resounded along Minjiang River, and lights and shadows appeared to dance merrily in the middle of the river and made Zhongzhou Island light up.
With Zhongzhou Island functioning as the screen and beams of light as the pen, digital light and shadow technology turned Zhongzhou Island into a “light cube”, delivering an amazing, spectacular visual experience to tourists. The image of Fuzhou, a green, smart and ecology-friendly city with 1,000 parks, was presented to audiences in an video integrating lights and shadows.
It is worth mentioning that while UAVs flew over Zhongzhou Island, the splendid fireworks show was just about to start.
The moment when UAVs over Zhongshan Island helped unfold the blessing words for Fuzhou winning the award, a continuous stream of fireworks burst forth. Shining fireworks of different colors, including red, purple and green, were intertwined and lighted up the night sky in a dreamlike manner, fascinating audiences enormously. (Li Jinqing)
