[Fuzhou Evening News]In the 2023 China Nighttime Economy Forum held in Sanya, Hainan on October 11, the China Tourism Academy released the China Nighttime Economy Development Report 2023. Fuzhou together with Qingdao, Nanjing, Shenzhen, Wuhan, Changsha, Chengdu, Luoyang, Yangzhou and Sanya were selected as the top 10 emerging cities for 2023 in regard to nighttime economy, and Sanfang Qixiang (Three Lanes and Seven Alleys) in Fuzhou was included among the top 10 cases for innovation of nighttime economy in 2023.

Nighttime cultural and tourism consumption in Fuzhou, which is booming thanks to its popularity, vitality and exemplary role, has become a new driver to improve the public well-being, add vitality and reputation to the city, attract more domestic tourists and boost the cultural tourism sector.

Guided by the goal of “A Happy City at Nighttime”, Fuzhou will pursue innovations, give play to its time-honoured culture and history and deepen the integration between commerce, culture and tourism to continuously create new forms of nighttime economy and make nighttime economy increasingly prosperous.  (Jiang Hai)
