NEW YORK, Oct. 9 (Xinhua) -- U.S. stocks ended higher on Monday.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 197.07 points, or 0.59 percent, to 33,604.65. The S&P 500 added 27.16 points, or 0.63 percent, to 4,335.66. The Nasdaq Composite Index increased by 52.90 points, or 0.39 percent, to 13,484.24.
