China’s inbound tourism is drawing repeat visitors from abroad, as more travelers return for indepth experiences beyond sightseeing, spurred by visafree policies and diverse routes across the country.

British tourist Urvi has already visited China three times and is planning a fourth trip, making her a genuine repeat visitor. From classic routes in Beijing and Shanghai to the ancient capital Xi’an and the QinghaiXizang Plateau, each journey has brought her fresh surprises.
"I absolutely love China because it's an amazing, incredible country. Obviously, I like to do more traveling to China. I'm going to do the Silk Road in May next year again," she said.
With China implementing visa-free policies for countries including the UK, traveling to China is increasingly accessible. That has created more favorable conditions for foreign tourists to revisit China and encouraged more people to list China as a travel destination.
"I know it's given more incentive to the people to travel, explore the country. And that what China has really changed for the better," she said.
In Cambodia, many netizens have shared their travel stories in China on social media platforms, and "China Travel" has become a hot topic online.
Lim Kimsroung, a travel enthusiast from Phnom Penh, has visited China many times and built a strong following by sharing videos of her trips. The Cambodian influencer says she is most impressed by China’s rapid modernization and convenient transport, which remain the country’s biggest attractions for her.
"I have been to China many times. One thing I really like about China is its rapid development. Whether it's high-speed trains or subways, traveling is very convenient," she said.
Business travel is another important purpose for many overseas visitors to come to China.
Cambodian entrepreneur Nito Lim is establishing a daily chemical company after multiple visits to China, where his travels gave him an indepth grasp of the country’s industrial and supplychain strengths. Choosing China as his first business partner, he aims to bring its advanced technologies and equipment to Cambodia.
"Yunnan is one of the provinces that I love the most. From coffee, from tea, flower, I think there's so much to do over there, and I've been there four or five times and I still haven't learned enough about the culture yet," said the Cambodian entrepreneur.
