The China Enterprise Confederation recently released the list of “2025 China’s Top 500 Enterprises”. The ranking was made based on their operating revenue for 2024. Five companies from Qingdao made the list: Haier Group Corporation, Hisense Group Holdings Co., Ltd., Shandong Port Group Co., Ltd., Qingdao West Coast New Area Ronghe Holding Group Co., Ltd., and Qingdao West Coast New Area Ocean Holdings Group Co., Ltd.

All the five Qingdao-based companies were better ranked compared with their performance in the year before. Haier, Hisense, Shandong Port Group, West Coast New Area Ronghe Holding Group and West Coast New Area Ocean Holdings Group rank 67th, 130th, 147th, 425th and 471th, climbing seven, five, twenty-five, twenty-nine and five spots, respectively.

The China Enterprise Confederation unveiled the list of China’s top 500 enterprises for a 24th consecutive time. On the 2025 list, China’s top 500 enterprises achieved a combined total of 110.15 trillion yuan in revenue, and the threshold became higher for the 23rd straight time. (Sun Xin)
