The total number of inbound and outbound passengers handled by Shanghai ports reached nearly 24.79 million in the first seven months of the year, an increase of over 20 percent year on year, according to the latest data from Shanghai Customs.
The latest data from Shanghai Customs shows that in the first seven months of this year, Shanghai Airport handled 148,000 inbound and outbound flights, involving a total of 23.597 million passenger trips, up 13.4 percent and 20.1 percent respectively year on year.
During the same period, the cruise ports in Shanghai handled 381 cruise ships and 1.191 million passenger trips, up 62.8 percent and 56 percent year on year respectively, marking Shanghai's enhanced service level as an international shipping center.
