The function of voice calls is very useful.” Since its roll-out in April, Longhua “smart helmets” have been widely favored by ebike riders. To make citizens further acquainted with the top six functions and comfort and convenience features of Longhua “smart helmets”, and personally see how intelligent science and technology makes life increasingly easy, the Government Service Data Management Bureau of Longhua District held on the afternoon of June 28 the experience and promotion activity for Longhua “smart helmets” with the theme “Mobility Technology, Indispensable Helmets” on Guanhu Century Square. Since the beginning of October 2022, Longhua District has started working on smart helmets worn by ebike riders. After adequate verification, designing, development and testing, Longhua District led Guangdong Province in rolling out “smart helmets” with its own characteristics.

In the activity, working staff explained citizens the top six functions of the smart helmet. As soon as riders wear the Longhua “smart helmets”, voice reminders for wearing helmets in a right way can be heard, including “fasten the buckle please” and “the helmet is duly worn”. Riders can answer phone calls with one click and access voice navigation service via bluetooth connection. Riders can receive voice early warning when they enter accident black spots. In the case of a rider falling down, the smart helmet can immediately detect the fall and inform the emergency contact.

Citizens were immersed in the explanation of Longhua “smart helmets” and have become acquainted with innovative and practical functions of the “smart helmets”.
