The inaugural Qingdao flower festival began on March 28 in Qingdao's Laoshan district. Over the course of the festival, 158 themed activities will be organized, with tourism vouchers and discounts on tickets for key attractions distributed at both the municipal and district levels.

Running for two months until late May, this year's festival integrates cultural tourism with industries such as commerce, sports, landscaping, and agriculture. Unique activities will include flower viewing, culinary experiences, exhibitions, and cultural heritage markets.

By extending the industry chain and introducing diverse experiences, the event aims to enhance consumption levels and position the festival as a key driver of high-quality economic development.

Focusing on boosting the spring economy and activating cultural tourism consumption, the festival will distribute tourism vouchers and increase subsidies for accommodation, attractions, film screenings, and cultural exhibitions at both the municipal and district levels.
