An increasing number of Chinese are embarking on countryside "flower viewing" trips as the weather gets warmer and many trees are in full blossom.

"Flower viewing" trips have triggered an early spring tourism season, with online travel platforms reporting a 220-percent surge in related searches compared with the same period of last year.

In Xunwu County in east China's Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, a local pear cultivation base is receiving continuous inflows of visitors, who come to appreciate the ivory blossoms.

"The pear blossoms here are truly beautiful, and I decided to visit this cultivation base with my friends. You can take amazing photos here effortlessly, and I read ancient poems describing the scene, where tens of thousands of pear trees burst into bloom," said Xie Hui, a tourist.
In Binyang County, south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, blooming canola flowers have attracted visitors with faint fragrance.
"I am from Nanning, and we came here to take some amazing photos, appreciate the natural landscapes and set our hearts free," said a tourist.
