Following the national debut of the “China Qingdao-Thailand Bangkok” route on November 8, the “China Qingdao-Vietnam Hanoi” route was launched on November 14, marking the second new GMS international road transport route opened by Qingdao in one week.

The Greater Mekong Subregion Cross-Border Transport Facilitating Agreement (GMS-CBTA) is a useful measure to facilitate cross-border transport. GMS international road transport routes enable cross-border point-to-point transport, and meet the demand for transporting time-sensitive goods, thus improving efficiency, making cargo damage less likely and promoting cost reduction and efficiency improvement for logistics.  (Zhou Jianliang)
