In the past few days, in Qingdao Opto-electronics Industry Park, Qingdao Ronghe Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. made its 30-inch commercial display product, and Qingdao Ronghe New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. successfully launched a production line for Mini LED back panels. The two moves mark that the ultra-thin electronic glass project has been officially put into production in Qingdao.

The newly launched project is reported to produce 40 million square meters of Mini LED back panels and 24 million pieces of 3D vehicle-mounted cover plates per year, and will primarily supply parts in its vicinity to such leading companies as BOE, Foxconn, Haier and Hisense, thus serving as a solution to alleviating the shortage of core base materials for new-type display products. As the ultra-thin electronic glass project is put into production, Qingdao will make further headway in R&D and production capacity in the new-type display sector, and improve the supporting system for the chip display industry. The launch of the project holds great significance for accelerating the building of a development paradigm across all industry chains featuring core competitiveness and upstream and downstream coordination.
