The 2024 Qingdao, Hong Kong and Macao Technology Finance Conference was recently took place in West Coast New Area of Qingdao.

Qingdao has long started cooperation with Hong Kong and Macao, and the two special administrative regions have become Qingdao’s important trading partners, sources of foreign investment and platforms for international financing. With the theme of “Thriving on Innovation, Leading the Future with Quality”, the event, with a focus on discussing the latest trends in technology finance and exploring new ways to develop technology finance, is designed to leverage technology and finance resources in Qingdao, Hong Kong and Macao to achieve organic integration between scientific and technological innovation and financial capital and to facilitate a faster transformation of achievements in sci-tech innovation into new productive forces.

In the conference, Qingdao, Hong Kong and Macao has inked an agreement to jointly foster an ecosystem of technology finance, launched a sci-tech innovation fund (preparatory) and unveiled the technology finance incubation base. The construction of the DetNet Qingdao Intelligent Computing Node began, and the Virtual Grid Ecology Alliance was founded in the event. Product presentations, lectures and seminars on technology finance were also held to discuss cooperation opportunities between Qingdao, Hong Kong and Macao, and to join hands to seek high-quality development.  (Wang Kai)
