The 2024 Top 500 Unicorn Conference was convened in Qingdao from June 27th till June 28th.

Co-sponsored by Qingdao municipal government and Research Center of China’s Private Enterprises of Renmin University and under the theme “Developing New Productive Forces, Unleashing New Economic Dynamics”, the event explored the improvement of business environment and investment opportunities, and comprised the top 500 unicorn unveiling conference, the launching ceremony of the global unicorn cultivation program, high-end forums, keynote speeches, major project roadshows and investment and financing matchmaking activities, in a bid to set up a platform for intensive exchanges and cooperation, and discover and develop new productive forces.

In the event, the 2024 Top 500 Global Unicorn Development Report and the 2024 List of Top 100 Global Unicorns were unveiled. The basic landscape of global unicorns has been presented comprehensively, and data analysis has been resorted to  forecast their development features and trends. Additionally, a special training session for heads of small and medium-sized enterprises was launched, where senior executives from unicorn companies, multinationals and central SOEs served as tutors instructing tech start-ups how to seek fast growth.
