First low-altitude air route for logistics application in north China makes its debut flight in Qin 发布日期:2024/6/26 来源:International daily 打印

A Cessna aircraft fully loaded with 1.3 tons of cherries flew from Qingdao Cihang General Aviation Aerodrome and arrived at Beijing Miyun Airport after three hours and a half, marking that the first low-altitude air route for logistics application in north China made its debut flight.

Low-altitude economy is currently an important means of cultivating new drivers of growth in Qingdao. Located in Pingdu, Qingdao, Cihang General Aviation Aerodrome is the first general-purpose airport on Shandong Peninsula to obtain the A1 license from the Civil Aviation Administration of China and positioned as a “low-altitude logistics base” on the peninsula. This year, Qingdao Metro Group, Cihang Airport and SF Group have joined hands to build a trans-Bohai Bay low-altitude logistics circle across Jiaodong and Liaodong Peninsula, using Cihang Airport as the logistics distribution center and covering 1,000 km inside and outside the province.

“A regular low-altitude flight for logistics application from Qingdao Cihang to Heze Mudan Airport is expected to be opened in early July and will proceed on a normal basis. By the end of 2024, there will be five low-altitude air routes for logistics application, with an annual cargo throughput of more than 2,000 tons.” notes Wang Jianhong, general manager of Cihang Airport Operation Co., Ltd.
